Iridium disks are used as a source of gamma radiation in flaw detection. Non-destructive testing devices are applied to check the quality of welds and structural integrity (radiography method).
Disks from iridium can be made from natural iridium and enriched stable isotope Iridium-191 (more than 80%), if the metal in powder form is provided by the customer.
Diameter: 1.00-6.00 mm. Thickness: 0.10-0.50 mm
